Ocean Hotel Guangzhou

Great hotel in a pleasant position close enough to everything. Tidy units and courteous staff who know customer service. Soft bed, a clean bathroom. Location really close to China, local bars and eating places and a really great Indian restaurant.

The carpet is old and in stains. Breakfast is about nothing and very expensive. On the whole, it's not bad.

Excellent hotel with great amenities like Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception, and a fitness center. I remember how the staff helped me print my boarding pass on my first stay. I highly recommend this place!

It had perfect location with access to Overseas Chinese Village nearby.

particularly good location in the commercial area, with an underground station walk from the hotel. exceptionally comfortable bed in the standard room, plus an electronic key card, a work desk, and a tv set.

The walk to the nearby metro can be quite treacherous!!! Having functional electrical sockets would be a significant upgrade!!! A little more attention to detail in room cleaning wouldn't hurt!!!

we were in guangzhou for 4 days, had fine stay, the hotel was fairly clean with nice and perfect location easy to access metro stations. location: the property was near to a taxi, many restaurants in-and-around the area and the river.

Breakfast is wonderful with many options , staff are responsive and friendly. The location is superb with easy access to multiple MRT lines and eateries. Room is comfortable and well-stocked with toiletries.

Got a very good deal as 700 RMB the night so it was good value for money. Otherwise for 1,000 or more it doesn t worth it although the staff is good and the room comfortable. Good breakfast with vaste variety if food. fitness and swiming pool is just for the record

I enjoyed the hotel's warm ambiance, with well-maintained facilities and friendly staff who were always eager to assist us. The easy access from the metro station made it convenient for our senior group to explore nearby attractions.

More seating areas for seniors would be appreciated.

I have booked a non smoking room and the hotel gave me a smoking room, smelling... I have allergy, and have explained to hotel manager and he just said that was no other room available, then send there someone with a spray and thought that the problem was solved...no comments...

Price, quality leaves much to be desired. The hotel is already old, the bathroom was bad smell.

Service was lacking, as no one spoke English well. The A/C in our room had issues, and even though they fixed it promptly, the lack of friendliness was off-putting. The room was clean and equipped with necessary amenities.
